Cabourg, Belle Époque
Seminar in Cabourg: hotels, rooms and turnkey organisation
Belle Époque atmosphere, the longest beach on the Côte Fleurie and a Grand Hôtel dear to Proust.
The destination
Cabourg, the seaside seminar between Deauville and Caen
Are you organising a seminar in Cabourg and looking for a seaside setting without going far from Paris? Normandy DMC has organised corporate events on the Côte Fleurie for more than 20 years, and our team is based twenty minutes from Cabourg. Selection and booking of hotels and rooms, catering, activities, transfers: a single point of contact, a single quotation, complete management of logistics.
Cabourg holds a rare position on the Côte Fleurie: twenty minutes from Deauville, twenty-five from Caen, and about two hours from Paris. It is a human-scale seaside town, with beaches as far as the eye can see, Belle Époque architecture and a lively centre where everything is done on foot. For a seminar, this means an immediate change of scenery and zero shuttles between the hotel, the beach and the restaurant.
The town has another particularity that sets it apart from its neighbours: the seminar offer is concentrated in a few seafront establishments, all with their own meeting rooms. A seminar in Cabourg is therefore most often held on a single site, which considerably simplifies the logistics of a study day or a two-day residential.
Cabourg is also the natural starting point for a half-day of discovery of the Côte Fleurie or the D-Day beaches, to be included in a two-day programme.

Accommodation
Hotels and seminar rooms in Cabourg
Two seafront establishments account for most of the offer. Here is what distinguishes them, and which format to choose them for.
A 4-star hotel with thalassotherapy, 165 rooms, 5 rooms
Set on the dune, about two hours from Paris, this 4-star establishment is on the seafront, in the heart of a 6-hectare park. It has 165 rooms and 5 flexible, bright, equipped meeting rooms, able to host up to 200 people, configurable in theatre, classroom, U-shape, banquet or cocktail style. Its distinctive asset is the thalassotherapy centre and marine spa, with free, unlimited access for participants: marine circuit, sauna, hammam and cardio-fitness room. It is the establishment we recommend for a two-day residential where the second half-day should release the pressure, or for a back-to-work seminar after an intense period.
A prestigious Belle Époque hotel, 4 rooms, private beach
Built in 1907, this hotel is one of the few prestigious establishments on the Normandy coast with direct access to the beach. Its architecture blends Italian Renaissance inspiration and Belle Époque decoration, and it holds a special place in French literary history: Marcel Proust stayed here, and its gourmet restaurant bears the name of the imaginary seaside resort in In Search of Lost Time. On the work side, the hotel offers 4 meeting rooms of 60 to 180 m², able to host up to 200 people, a well-being area and a bar. The restaurant serves facing the sea, and lunches can be taken at the beach restaurant. It is the address we favour for an executive committee or a seminar that needs to make an impression: the private beach, the bar and the famous madeleine make it a place participants talk about for a long time.
The region’s other venues
Beyond these two establishments, Cabourg and its surroundings offer event spaces and venues with character for more unusual or more confidential formats, as well as the racecourse and the circuit for activity-focused programmes. See also our selection of privatised venues for seminars in Normandy.

Our commitments
Our organisation: turnkey, a single quote
Three commitments structure our work on every seminar in Cabourg.
A turnkey seminar
Selection and booking of the hotel and rooms, catering on site or in town, activities, transfers and evening: everything is organised, contracted and coordinated by our team. A dedicated project manager is on site on the day.
A single quote
Even on a single site, a seminar involves the hotel, the caterer or outside restaurant, the hosts and the transfers. Our proposal brings them together on a single quotation: one purchase order, one invoice, one number to call.
Complete logistics management
Rooming lists, dietary requirements and allergies, spa treatment booking, weather fallback plan for beach activities, technical coordination: this is our contractual responsibility, not yours.

Frequently asked questions
FAQ: Seminar in Cabourg
Where to hold a seminar in Cabourg?
The offer is concentrated in two seafront establishments. Les Bains de Cabourg Thalazur offers 165 rooms and 5 meeting rooms flexible up to 200 people, with free access to the marine spa. The Grand Hôtel MGallery, built in 1907, has 4 rooms of 60 to 180 m², direct beach access and the gourmet restaurant Le Balbec. The choice depends on the format and the effect sought.
How many participants for a seminar in Cabourg?
From 8 people for an executive committee to 200 participants in a suitable configuration in either of the two large establishments. Beyond 200, we steer you towards Deauville or Caen, whose congress facilities can follow.
Can a seminar in Cabourg be held on a single site?
Yes, and it is the destination’s main asset. The two large hotels have their own meeting rooms, their own catering and the beach opposite. Plenary, lunch, activity, overnight stay and dinner all take place without any transfer, which greatly simplifies logistics.
What activities can we do during a seminar in Cabourg?
The beach facing the hotels directly hosts olympics, challenges and beach games. We add sand yachting, quad bikes, rosalies, a murder-mystery in town, a wine-tasting workshop or a cooking class. For a day entirely dedicated to team cohesion, see our team building page in Cabourg.
How do you get to Cabourg for a seminar?
About 2 hours from Paris-Saint-Lazare with one change, 2h15 via the A13 by car or coach, and Deauville-Normandie airport about twenty minutes away. On site, everything is done on foot. We organise group transfers from each of these points.
What types of seminars do you organise in Cabourg?
Study day, two-day residential seminar, executive committee, convention of up to 200 people and back-to-work seminar. Cabourg is particularly suited to formats combining work and recovery, thanks to the thalassotherapy centre.
